The new Women's hostel at the Evangelism Training College Kalkudah was dedicated on 7 December 2008 and a new Community Hall at Kiran was dedicated on ll July 2009. The Livelihood Training Center at Kalmunai was declared open on December 06, 2008 and the Community Hall cum Nursery at Kalahe was opened on August 01,2009. The Housing Scheme at Mattakuliya was declared open on 29 March 2009. New Churches are under construction at Mannar, Pethiyagoda, Badulla, Wellawaya, Ragala, Patalipuram Mawattagama and steps are being taken to build new Mission Houses at Atchelu, Vannarponnai, Neboda and Walahapitiya and new Churches at Hinidduma, Manchanthoduwai.

We have on an experimental basis encouraged the productive use of agricultural land at Matarambe (Smahankande) Batapola, Nattandiya and Miriswatte.If this proves to be a useful venture we hope to extend it to other areas as well.
